Our first impression was the unit is dated and the carpet was filthy from the previous guests. We were there during spring break and it’s very busy and understand how quickly the units need to be turned around. The staff was amazing and had it cleaned immediately and it looked great. The place really grew on us because it is beachy and homey. We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s right across the street from the beach and only takes a few minutes to walk down the path to the green lifeguard tower. The carport is right below the unit so that was very convenient. It was nice to have a screened in patio because we did not have to worry about the bugs. The unit was clean. Some of the kitchen stuff is dated and older but everything was clean. The furniture and beds where comfortable. Loved the Pelican Siesta Key figurine. Hunted all of Siesta to try and find one but had no luck. The pool is nice and clean. And shuffleboard is a nice added touch. The staff was great and the property was immaculate. Since it’s on the top level and a corner unit noise was never a problem. Always felt safe and secure here. The place was sold out for Spring Break and we did not see or hear any issues at La Siesta very happy with our stay.
